Hello and Welcome,
My name is Janet and I am a state-licensed in-home childcare provider with over 24 years of experience. Outside of my professional experience with children, I also have my personal experience with my own 5 children and 8 beautiful grandchildren. I have also been a Foster parent in the past.
My goal is to teach the children in my care to become independent, self-confident, and enthusiastic learners for life, while developing strong self-esteem, improving social skills, manners, and a positive attitude towards exploration and learning.
Communication is very important to me. When I accept a new family into Janet's Daycare, I like to be sure that we can share openly any concerns or questions that may arise. It is important that there is a similar childcare philosophy between us. Parent communication is important for the development of your child.
Certifications, Health, Background, and Awards
I am certified for infant/pediatric/adult CPR, First Aid, and Health and Safety. TB tested, Fingerprinted and FBI Background checked. I am very proud to share that Janet's Daycare was voted Best of Citrus Heights 2020, in the Category Daycare Centers & Nurseries.
Children learn mostly through play. They are natural and curious learners and that they all should be treated equally no matter what label they have been given.

It is important to help children develop a positive view of themselves and others by learning how to respect themselves and the people around them.
The adults you choose to put in your children’s lives have a direct influence in their development.
